What's the cost to me?

There are two costs: Management Fee and Boosted Spend

  • Management Fee: One-time fee per request of $150. This covers the creation, launch and reporting of the campaign.
  • Boosted Spend: $100/per day.

What is the recommended spend and run time for my ad(s)?

For this program, we recommend a minimum run time of one (1) day for $100.00, and a maximum of ten (10) days for $1,000.00.

The reason is because our main KPI for this program is Cost per Result, which calculates your ad's objective (Engagement, Brand Awareness, Reach, Link Clicks) divided by the amount spent on the ad. This gives us the best insight to determine how your ad performed.

How many proof edits are covered under the management fee?

You are allotted TWO (2) proofs under the management fee. Any additional edits/proofs are $50.

The social team will only make edits that are business-critical. These types of edits include items like misspellings or inaccurate product information. Minor edits such as changing verbiage from "at" to "with," etc., will not be honored. The social team reserves the right to reject edits that are not business-critical.

How can I pay?

There are two ways you can pay: Local Cost Center or Co-op Funding

  • Local Cost Center: Provide us with your local cost center number and we'll do the rest!
  • Co-op Funding: Have a co-op fund? If your co-op is managed through HQ we can bill directly to the fund.

Note: If your co-op is not managed through HQ, please reach out to Mike Lewis with Marketing Finance for an invoice.

When will I get billed?

Billing occurs at the beginning of each month. This includes all management fees and ad spend for the month prior.

How far in advance do I need to request a post?

There is a 7-business day turnaround time on all requests. This allows the social team to have adequate time to design the graphic, edit copy, create the ad campaign and go through the proofing process.

Any requests submitted with less than 7-days before the requested due date (publishing date) will be put on hold until a new date is agreed upon.

Can I run an ad on Instagram?

Yes! Instagram placements are now available for all requests!

Which templates can I choose from?

Due to creative sizing varying across social platforms, please only select a template that is labeled for your desired social media placement.

  • Example: If you would like to run an ad on Instagram, please only select from the templates suited for Facebook and Instagram.

Which copy can I choose from?

You are welcome to choose from whatever copy suggestions we provide (see the "Step 3: Copy" tab above)! Additionally, if none of the suggestions fit your needs, you can submit your own in the Workfront project!

You are able to differentiate copy between Facebook and Instagram if you choose to have placements on both channels. Please be sure to note the copy differences in your request so we know which copy belongs with which channel!

Audience Range - How do I know what to choose?

We offer specific targeting and audience distribution on our Local Social ads! When prompted, you are able to choose from:

  • No Radius (you will only reach the people in/near the specific zip code or address you submit)
  • 10 miles
  • 20 miles
  • 30 miles
  • 40 miles
  • 50 miles

Determining which mile radius to select is easy! Just think: How many people do I want to see my ad outside of my location's zip code / address?

I forgot to upload a vendor logo when I submitted my request. What do I do?

If the proofing process has not yet started, upload the vendor logo to the documents section on your Workfront request immediately and notify the project manager.

If the proofing process has begun and you request a vendor logo, it will count towards your two allotted proofs.

Can I tag (@ mention) another account in my ad?

We are able to tag (@ mention) accounts on both Facebook and Instagram; however, we cannot on LinkedIn.

Why are there only Benchmarks for Showrooms and Trade?

Right now, we only have a Benchmarking Guide for Showrooms and Trade because they are the only Customer Groups that have submitted enough Local Social requests for us to gather data on and create recommendations for.

We are hoping that we are able to gather enough data for other Customer Groups in the future, but it is entirely dependent on the amount of Local Social requests we receive for each Customer Group.

We require at least 6 months of consistent requests to create benchmarks -- So if you are an Upper Funnel requester, submit as many requests as you can!

How can I include third party promotions in my ad(s)?

In order to promote third party giveaways, there are requirements and your ad(s) must meet certain standards. You can find them here: Promotions Using Third-Party Images
